Professional info
I am a 23 year old Fine artist from Hong Kong / Spain. My work delves into the subconscious mind, intensely exploring the research of Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung. In my evocation of Modernist painters, I work using my stylistic quotation that adheres to the practices of Surrealism & Impressionism. My intentions are poetic, in the luminous textures of the paint and the affirmation of the physical act of painting. I stress the sense of visual depth and aim to convey the inner machinations of my mind.
Work experience
2015 – ‘HIDE’ Exhibition in Sway, Dorset – Collaboration with Architecture & Fine Art.
2015 - Commission for a portrait – Painted oil portraits for 2 personal buyers ‘’ (Sold for £200 each).
2013 – 2014 Worked at Chinese\English Kindergarten as a workbook designer. (Photoshop, Illustrator CS6, Adobe After effects)
2013 – 2014 Freelance photographer – photography of local events Bournemouth (Coco Loco Lounge)
2011 – Exhibition Assistant – Working with Installation Artist Janet Lawrence in the 2011 Hong Kong Art Fair, setting up and maintenance of installation work. Planning and curating exhibition space.
2011 – Artistic Expression Teacher in Yang Zhuo, China - small groups of children, focus on natural artistic vocation, linguistic development, artistic expression.
2010 – 2011 Worked as artist’s assistant and Art Room Technician for West Island School, Hong Kong. Maintenance, consultation, and artistic development.
